    Series reactor

    Series reactor, used for reactive power compensation, is generally used in series with capacitor. It is capacitive under power frequency, so as to prevent parallel resonance and non amplification harmonic current. It can suppress high-order harmonic, limit switching inrush current, improve system power factor, prevent harm caused by harmonic capacitor, and avoid excessive amplification and harmonic of grid harmonic caused by the connection of capacitor device.

    The non-linear current produced by the extensive use of modern power electronic equipment affects the power grid and aggravates the power grid pollution, resulting in serious interference from capacitors, transformers and transmission equipment. Resonance and voltage distortion will also cause power supply accidents. The role of the harmonic reactor is to improve and avoid the harm of harmonic current.
    Selection principle

    The power consumption enterprises have their own characteristics and different requirements for the equipment. The dry-type reactor has the characteristics of low noise, good linearity, high mechanical strength, simple installation, etc.; the oil immersed reactor has small loss, small floor area, poor linearity and high noise. Therefore, what kind of reactor should be used should be considered comprehensively. The main function of series reactor is to restrain harmonic, limit inrush current and filter harmonic. Reactance rate is the main parameter of reactor, and the size of reactor directly affects its function.
    The reactance rate of current limiting reactor is 0.1-1%, while the reactance rate of harmonic suppressing reactor is 4.5% – 13%.

    1. The de resonance reactor, which passes through the alternating current, is used to connect with the power factor compensation capacitor in series, and form the series resonance for the steady-state harmonics (5, 7, 11, 13 times). Generally, there are reactor with reactance rate of 4.5-6 (%). For 5th harmonic, the reactance rate is usually 6%, which belongs to satons reactor with high inductive value. For 3rd harmonic, the reactance rate is usually 12-13%.
    2. Series reactord is safe, flame-retardant, environmentally friendly and pollution-free, and can be directly installed in the load center. Adopting imported epoxy resin, the product has high mechanical strength, strong short-circuit resistance, low partial discharge and high reliability. The utility model has the advantages of small loss, low noise, maintenance free, simple installation and obvious energy saving effect. It has good moisture-proof performance and can operate in high humidity, such as in tropical areas and other harsh environments.

    oil-immersed Series reactor
    Features of oil immersed reactor:

    Iron Core Series Reactors

     Features of dry core reactor:
    1. The reactor can be designed quickly and accurately according to the user’s special requirements by using computer optimization design to achieve the most ideal electrical performance and structural parameters;
    2、 The coil is made of high-quality electromagnetic wire and high-quality insulating material (interlayer insulation);
    3. The reactor coil is poured by epoxy resin in vacuum and adopts advanced vacuum pouring system equipment, which has the characteristics of excellent insulation performance and high mechanical strength;

    Air Core Shunt reactor
    Features of air core reactor:
    1. The reactor can be designed quickly and accurately according to the user’s special requirements by using computer optimization design to achieve the most ideal electrical performance and structural parameters;
    2. All reactors are encapsulated by long glass fiber bundles impregnated with epoxy resin. The reactor is composed of several coils, which have high ability of anti short circuit current;
    3. The coil of the reactor adopts the film with excellent insulation performance as the turn insulation of the conductor to improve the insulation performance of the reactor;
    4. The reactor surface is covered with a silicon organic paint resistant to ultraviolet radiation, which has a good resistance to outdoor weather conditions;
    5. Among the layers of reactor coils, polyester glass fiber draw rod is used as the axial cooling air passage, which has excellent cooling performance;
    6. In the design of reactor temperature rise, the maximum temperature of hot spot is considered, and a considerable margin is reserved, so as to ensure the long-term safe operation of reactor;
    7. Because the reactor adopts multi-layer parallel structure, the axial electric stress of the coil is zero, and the voltage distribution along the coil height direction is uniform under the steady-state working voltage;
    8. Because the reactor is encapsulated by long fiber glass tow impregnated with epoxy resin and fixed by aluminum alloy star frame, the coil has good integrity after curing treatment, and the reactor has long service life and low noise;
    9. The aluminum conductor (Φ 1.6 – Φ 4.5) with small cross-section is used as the coil conductor in the reactor, which effectively reduces the eddy current loss in the conductor under harmonic wave;
    10. The conductor of reactor is welded by argon arc welding, and there are no fastening parts on the mechanical structure, which greatly improves the operation reliability;
